Abstract

This case report is about a female growing patient with Class II malocclusion, showing 13 mm overjet, hyperdivergent
skeletal pattern and mandibular retrusion. Treatment was planned in two stages. In the first stage, cervical headgear and
twin block was used for maxillary growth restriction and mandibular forward positioning, followed by the second stage
of fixed preadjusted edgewise orthodontic appliance for camouflaging the remaining skeletal and dental discrepancy
using orthodontic mini-implant. We achieved satisfying results with harmonious face, Class I molar relationship with
proper interdigitation, overbite, overjet, and midline coincidence.
